Makes about 6 – 8 large bars.
Ingredients:
2 cups of fresh strawberries
12 ounces of cocoa butter
1 teaspoon organic monk fruit extract powder, or 3 tablespoons of a granulated sweetener
Optional: 1/4 cup of honey
Instructions:
- Slice the strawberries thin.
- Use the dehydrator kit, to dehydrate the strawberries at 150° F. for 4 hours. For more details see: Dehydrating Fruit (Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven Recipe)
- Get all the dehydrated strawberries off the grates. Some may be easy to remove with a spatula. For any that are stuck. You can something like the sharp point of a skewer. To poke carefully through the opposite side of the grates. Be careful not to poke the metal wires of the grates, that will damage them.
- Melt the cocoa butter on very low heat, till it’s liquified.
- Add the organic monk fruit extra powder to the cocoa butter, and mix it well.
- Optional: If using honey, mix it into the cocoa butter mixture very well. Honey doesn’t harden. So, you have to mix it well, or don’t use honey.
- Sprinkle the dehydrated strawberries into single layers in silicone bar molds.
- Pour the cocoa butter mixture into the molds. Be careful not to overfill them.
- Carefully place the molds into the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Once you take them from the refrigerator. Anything not hardened is honey. And will not harden.
- Enjoy.
