Ingredients:
2 cups peanuts, shell and husk removed
1 teaspoon sea salt
3-7 tablespoons extra light olive oil
1 or 1.5 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon granulated sweetener
Instructions:
- Put the peanuts into a baking pan.
- Place the wire rack on the lowest rack level.
- Set the cooker to Air Roast:
- For previously roasted peanuts cook them 350° F., about 8 minutes cooking time.
- For raw never earlier roasted peanuts, cook them 250° F. but no more than 285° F., 1 hour cooking time.
- Press start to begin preheating.
- After preheating pause and place the pan on the wire rack.
- Resume the cook after closing the cooker.
- Allow the cook time to complete.
- Take the pan out and let it cool on a heat resistant surface at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Add the peanuts to a glass bowl food chopper.
- Pulse the food chopper until the peanuts are finely ground.
- Add all of the remaining ingredients.
- Pulse the food chopper until your desired degree of smoothness is achieved.
- Be sure to open and press down anything that sticks to the side walls and continue mixing, so it all mixes well.
- Enjoy! (No need to refrigerate.)
For Chocolate Peanut Butter, use these ingredients:
2 cups peanuts, shell and husk removed
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
6 tablespoons extra light olive oil
2 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoon granulated sweetener
For Black Walnut Butter, use these ingredients:
2 cups black walnuts, shell and husk removed
1 teaspoon sea salt
6 tablespoons extra light olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon granulated sweetener
