Nestle Toll House Cookies (NuWave Oven Heating Instructions)

4 Nestle Toll House Cookies

  1. Place on the bottom serving tray, spread evenly.
  2. Place the lid on the NuWave Oven so its tilted out slightly about 1/2 or 1 inch on one side.   This is called “venting” and will allow the cookies to cook best.
  3. Cook for 13 minutes on high power.
  4. Remove the lid and allow them to cool on the bottom tray.  The cookies will spread more while cooling.
  5. Enjoy!

When baking cookies in the NuWave Oven.  You have to be sure to “vent” the lid, so that the cookies will spread.  Without using the “venting” method, the Cookies will not spread out like you would prefer.  Most people want their cookies to spread out as they would in a conventional oven.

If you don’t use venting, the Cookies will still taste like any other Cookies.  But they won’t spread and will be a smaller clump of cookie.  If you don’t really mind how the Cookies look.  You can certainly use the instructions above without any venting.  Your Cookies will taste great just the same.  But if you want your Cookies to spread and look more like would come from a conventional oven.  Use the venting method provided in the heating instructions above.
