- Steamed beets, chopped to bite sized pieces: 2 cups: 12 minutes
- Steamed fish, thick cut: 16 minutes
- Steamed oats: 2 cups of oats, 2 cups ground cinnamon, 4 tablespoons butter, and 3 cups of water or milk of choice. Added in the pot with the oats, for 60 minutes. Plus a 20 minutes warm afterwards. (Optional: Add 1 tablespoon of chia and use 4 cups of water.)
- Steamed Amaranth: 2 cups of Amaranth, 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 4 tablespoons butter, and 2.5 cups of water or milk of choice. Added in the pot with the Amaranth, for 60 minutes. Plus a 20 minutes warm afterwards. (Optional: Add 1 tablespoon of chia and use 3 cups of water.)
- Soaked & Steamed Amaranth: Put 2 cups Amaranth + 6 cups of water + 1/4 cup lemon juice or apple cider vinegar into a container and let it soak for 24 hours. You’ll need a Nut Milk Bag/Cheese Cloth Bag inside a strainer to drain the water after that. It’s too fine for any strainer alone. Then put into the steamer cooking pot the 2 cups of soaked Amaranth, 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon chia, 4 tablespoons butter, and just 1 cup of water or milk of choice. Steam for 60 minutes. Plus a 20 minutes warm afterwards.

- Steamed Adzuki beans: (Best not done in the steamer, but if you want to try.) 4 cups of beans, soaked 24 hours with 10 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook with 1 teaspoon of salt, and 4 cups of water added in the pot, for 60 minutes. Plus a 20 minute warm afterwards.
- Steamed Black beans: (Best not done in the steamer, but if you want to try.) 4 cups of beans, soaked 24 hours with 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook with 1 teaspoon of salt, and 4 cups of water added in the pot, for 60 minutes. Plus a 20 minutes warm afterwards.
- Quinoa and Vegetables see: Ninja Combi All-in-One Multicooker, Oven, and Air Fryer Recipe
- Use just 3 cups of water in the pot, and steam for 1 hour. Plus a 20 minutes warm afterwards.
- Soaked and Steam Quinoa: Rinse 2 cups of Quinoa with pure clean water a couple of times. You can put it into a bowl and swish water in the bowl with it a couple of times. You’ll need a fine strainer to drain the water off, but may not need a nut milk bag/cheese cloth bag if your strainer is fine enough. Then put the 2 cups Quinoa + 4 cups of water + 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a container and let it soak for 24 hours. Drain the water after that. Then put into the steamer cooking pot the 2 cups of soaked Quinoa, 4 tablespoons butter, and just 1 cup of water. Steam for 30, or longer if needed.
- Steamed leafy greens, just the leaves: 3-4 minutes.
