Cranberry Beans (Instant Pot Recipe)

This recipe was developed with an Instant Pot Ultra 60 (6 quart).

Ingredients: (for Garlic flavor)

1 pound of Cranberry Beans
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp. Applewood Smoked Sea Salt
4 tsp. minced Garlic
1 Tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
8 cups of water

Ingredients: (for Cinnamon Brown Sugar flavor)

1 pound of Cranberry Beans

1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

1 tsp. Kosher Salt

1 Tbs. Brown Sugar

1 Ounce Apple Cider

8 cups of water

Instructions:

  1. Add Water, then beans, then salt, then other ingredients and mix the ingredients a little.
  2. Put on the Instant Pot lid and close the seal.
  3. Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 30 minutes.
  4. Allow Natural Release.  Or wait 30 minutes before trying a quick release.
  5. Enjoy!

Note: Pressurize takes about 22 minutes in a 6 quart pressure cooker.
