Chocolate Chip Cookies (NuWave Oven Recipe)

2 chocolate chip cookie recipes for the NuWave Oven are below. You may use the version of your choice, or try both.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe, that makes about 4 big Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Carbquick or Bisquick(Carbquick has 90% less carbs than Bisquick.)
3 Tbs. Sugar substitute or sugar.  (If using 100% Erythritol, use 1/4 cup.)
1/8 cup Chocolate Chips  (The chip size and level of chocolate is your choice.  But note that white chips may turn brown while cooking.)
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup water
Pam cooking spray

Instructions:
1) Spray the bottom serving pan with Pam spray.
2) Place the dry ingredients, except the chocolate chips into a bowl and mix them together.
3) Pour the water and vanilla extract over the mixed dry ingredients and start to stir it in.
4) Stir till dough forms.
5) Roll the dough flat, till about 1/4 inch in thickness.
6) Use the open end of a drinking glass or coffee cup, to press out round cookies in the dough.
After you press some cookies, you may have to gather and roll the remaining dough. To have enough for the remaining cookies.
7) Place the cookies on the bottom serving tray evenly spaced.
8) Add an even portion of the chocolate chips, to the top of each cookie and press in just a little bit lightly with your finger.
9) Cook for 13 minutes at high power.
10) Remove the lid and wait 20 minutes. So they have time to cool. Then place the cookies on a plate.
11) Enjoy!

Cookie Recipe that makes about 8 – 10 big soft Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Carbquick or Bisquick(Carbquick has 90% less carbs than Bisquick.)
1 1/2 tsp baking power
3/4 cup Sugar substitute or sugar.  (If using 100% Erythritol, use 1 cup.)
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (the chip size and level of chocolate is your choice)
1/2 Tbs. Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Unsweetened vanilla almond milk or regular cow’s milk. (Unsweetened vanilla almond milk has just 1 carb per serving and about the same amount of fiber.)
Pam cooking spray

Instructions:

1) Spray the bottom serving pan with Pam spray.
2) Place the dry ingredients, except the chocolate chips into a bowl and mix them together.
3) Pour the almond milk/cow’s milk and vanilla extract over the mixed dry ingredients and start to stir it in.
4) Stir till dough forms.
5) Roll the dough flat, till about 1/4 inch in thickness.
6) Use the open end of a drinking glass or coffee cup, to press out round cookies in the dough.
After you press some cookies, you may have to gather and roll the remaining dough. To have enough for the remaining cookies.
7) Place the cookies on the bottom serving tray evenly spaced. You probably will not be able to fit them all at once. Just include as many as can fit with at least 1/2 inch space between them.
8) Add an even portion of the chocolate chips to the top of each cookie and press in.
9) Cook for 13 minutes at high power.
10) Remove the lid and wait 20 minutes. So they have time to cool. Then place the cookies on a plate.
11) Repeat steps 7 – 9 for the remaining cookie dough cut outs.
12) Enjoy!

Note: There is no “venting” required with this chocolate chip cookie recipe. This chocolate chip cookie recipe, was made just for the NuWave Oven. And made to work how you would normally use your NuWave Oven. With the lid totally closed. Not partly open, like is advised with other chocolate chip cookie recipes.

These choclate chip cookies are large in diameter, since you cut them out from a top of a glass or coffee cup. And these chocolate chip cookies are thin, like traditional chocolate chip cookies. They are the consistency you would expect from other traditional cookies. A little crispy on the edges and soft inside.

To have cookies turn out best in the NuWave Oven, it’s best to use a chocolate chip cookie recipe that was made for the NuWave Oven.
