Ingredients:
9 pounds of baby back ribs
1 cup barbeque sauce of choice or apple juice
1 cup of water
Pork rub of choice
Instructions:
- Cut the ribs into quarters.
- Cover the pork with your pork rub of choice and place them into the pot. Make sure nothing is over the max fill line.
- Pour in the fluids.
- Place the pressure cook lid onto the Ninja Foodi Pressure Air Fryer.
- Lock the lid so it is sealed.
- Set the cooker to the Pressure cooking option.
- Ensure it is set to High Pressure, which is the default pressure level.
- Press the Time button and adjust the cooking time to 30 minutes.
- Make sure the pressure valve is in the locked position.
- Press the dial in to start the cook.
- When the cooking time completes, allow 20 minutes of natural release. Then release the remaining pressure. Use caution when releasing pressure.
- Check the meat temperature is at least 145° F., but it will likely be much hotter.
- Remove the pork from the pot and place it into a pan.
- Rinse and dry the pot with paper towels.
- Place the pot back into the Ninja Foodi Pressure Air Fryer.
- Insert the reversible rack in the low position.
- Place a few pieces of pork onto the rack in a single layer.
- Close the crisp lid.
- Select the Air Crisp option.
- Press the Temp button and set the temperature to 375° F.
- Press the Time button and turn the dial to 30 minutes. (This just gives more than enough time to work with.)
- Press the dial in to start the cook.
- Allow the air crisp to run for 5 minutes and then lift the lid off, to pause the cook.
- Remove those pieces.
- Then repeat air frying process for the remaining pieces until finished.
