Almond Wheat Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Doughnuts (NuWave Bravo Toaster Oven & Air Fryer Recipe)

Doughnut recipe makes about 10-11 doughnuts

Ingredients:

1 cup blanced almond flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking power
2 tablespoons granulated sweetener
2 tablespoons honey
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup vital wheat gluten
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp sea salt
Sprayable extra light olive oil

Instructions:

  1. You will need a couple of 6 doughnut baking pans.
  2. Spray a doughnut pans with oil.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Hand mix in the wet ingredients.
  5. Stir till a sticky batter forms.
  6. Spoon some of the batter into the doughnut pan’s cups evenly. Make sure the center posts have no batter on them. You will probably fill all 6 of one pan and about 4-5 of the 2nd pan.
  7. Put one of the doughnut pans on rack level 1.
  8. Set the cooker to Bake 350° F., 20 minutes cooking time.
  9. Press the Start button to begin the cook.
  10. Allow the cooking time to complete.
  11. Remove the pan and put it on a cooling rack.
  12. Put in the 2nd doughnut pan and set the cooker to Bake 350° F., 15 minutes cooking time.
  13. Press the Start button to begin the cook.
  14. Allow the cook time to complete.
  15. Check that the doughnuts spring back when lightly touched.
  16. Allow the pans to cool.
  17. Enjoy!
