Soaking Instructions:

  1. Add the adzuki beans to a large pot.
  2. Add a teaspoons of salt.
  3. Add 10 cups of water.
  4. Let them soak for 12 – 24 hours, longer is better.

  1. Drain the water from the beans.
  2. Add the beans into the combi pot.
  3. Add the salt
  4. Add the garlic and/or other seasonings of choice
  5. Add the water
  6. Put the pot into the cooker, and close the door.
  7. Flip the switch on top of the cooker to Combi Cook.
  8. Set cooker to Steam, 15-25 minutes cooking time. Longer will make the beans softer.
  9. Press Start, to begin the cooking process.
  10. The cooker will preheat and then start counting down time, with everything inside from the start.
  11. After the cook time is complete. Do not turn the cooker off.
  12. Remove the pot. Let it rest outside the cooker on a heat resistant surface like a stove top, for about 5 minutes. To absorb more water.
  13. While the pot is resting, close the cooker’s door. The display should show “Dry”. Press Start.
  14. Once the dry process starts, 3 minutes will show on the display.
  15. Use the time up button, to increase the dry time to 8 – 10 minutes. You can stop the dry process earlier if you desire, but it will take longer than the default 3 minutes.
  16. If the dry time runs out, and you still see water on the metal inside. You have to do the following:
    1. Put the combi pot back into the cooker.
    2. Set the cooker to Steam and cook time to 1 minute.
    3. Press Start.
    4. The cooker should still be hot from earlier drying, so it should start counting down time, without a preheat.
    5. Once the time runs out, remove the pot, and follow the dry instructions above again.
  17. Enjoy!
